Melissa Davis is passionate about equipping men and women to be able to interpret and apply God's living Word in their lives and ministry. She has served in church and parachurch ministries for over 16 years in Canada, the United States, and overseas. She has served as an Associate Pastor, Pastor of Discipleship, director of Adult Education, Elder, and worship team member. Since 2017, she has partnered with various ministries to train and equip men and women in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda for ministry. She founded Equipping Ministries Global in 2023 to train pastors and church leaders with biblical, theological, and discipleship training. She is an active lay leader at Galilee Church.
Melissa earned her M.Div from ACTS Seminary in Langley, BC, and her Ph.D. at Regent University, where she serves as an adjunct professor and post-doctoral fellow. She and her husband, Mac, live in Virginia Beach with their German Shepherd, Ziva. They are puppy raisers with Blue Path Service Dogs, an organization that raises, trains and places service dogs with children with Autism
ELIM seeks to educate, equip and EmPower pastors, leaders, congregations, and individuals to live the life they were created to live through sound biblical teachings and humanitarian actions. ELIM is a key ministry partner in Siaya, KE. They host the training seminar in Siaya that Melissa teaches at.
WDI has a vision to disciple women to equip others to love Christ and live out their God-given calling. They train women through biblical and theological training, relationship building, community service activities, and ongoing support. WDI is a key ministry partner in Kireka, UG.
